It’s important to keep your details with us up to date. It helps us keep your money safe and secure by being able to contact you quickly if we need to.
Email is a primary way we will contact online account holders about your account, while we will write to postal account holders. So it’s important to keep your address and email address up to date.
Online account holders, you can change your details online simply by logging in to your account and click “change my details”. You can change your username and memorable details to something more personal.
Postal account holders, simply write to us including your username and account number. Or download, complete and return a Change of details form.

There are times when it can be useful to tell us about your circumstances changing, especially if it affects how you manage your finances, your ability to communicate with us, or if you have somebody helping you with your finances. Please contact us to tell us about your circumstances so we can discuss how we can better support you.
Depending on your product terms and conditions you can close your account.
To close an easy access account or easy access cash ISA simply transfer all your funds out to your nominated bank account. Please see “withdrawing your money” for help.
Notice accounts still in the initial 14 day cooling off period can be closed, after this you need to give notice in advance of closing your account. Please refer to your product terms and conditions for more information.
Fixed rate accounts cannot be closed before the account matures
Fixed rate cash ISAs still in the initial 14 day cooling off period can be closed, after this there is a penalty for early closure. Please refer to your product terms and conditions for more information.
On the same day, as long as we receive it before 6pm. If we receive it after this, it will be deposited into your account the next day. Alternatively, if you are making a payment via CHAPS and we receive your payment after 4pm your account will be credited the next business day. How long it takes for a payment to reach us will depend on who your nominated bank account is held with.
We will credit any cheques to your account on the day we receive them, and you’ll start earning interest from the second business day after we receive your cheque.
If we have to reject your funds for any reason, we will return the money to the account it came from.
To see your savings in your online account please log in.
For online accounts simply log in to your account to check your balance. If you are a postal account holder, please contact us for a balance update.
It’s easy to change your nominated bank account, simply fill in and send us a change nominated bank account form. You’ll need to provide some supporting documents, and your nominated bank account will be changed across all your Paragon accounts.

You can cancel any payments if they are set to be paid in the future. We call these ‘future dated transactions’. These transactions will show as ‘pending’ in your latest transactions.
To cancel a transaction, simply log in to your account, select ‘Latest Transactions’ from the menu, scroll down the page to ‘Future transactions’, select a date range of your choice and then select ‘edit’ against the transaction you want to cancel.
Once you select cancel, the next screen will confirm your transaction has been cancelled.
