Our highly specialised team collectively has more than 50 years’ experience in the structured lending and specialist finance arenas and our aim is to support the growth of high-quality lending businesses. We are focused on relationships and to support businesses through the cycle.

The expertise of our Structured Lending team enables Paragon to work with the client to understand their business model and tailor an innovative, structured solution to meet their requirements.

Paragon lends against a wide variety of underlying asset classes originated by the client in both the commercial and consumer finance sectors including property, retail point of sale, asset finance and SME lending. Our facilities are secured on the underlying customer receivables and provide liquidity of up to £25m.

We aim to work with best in class businesses and management teams who have a demonstrable track record and a strong culture of compliance.

An expert team

Paragon’s structured lending team is led by Adam Daniels, who has 30 years’ experience of the UK specialised lender market. Adam brings extensive sector knowledge from a career that includes experience as a M&A adviser, acquiring businesses as a principal at GE Capital and establishing and running a global specialist finance coverage team at Lloyds Bank.

Adam has been joined at Paragon by Lewis Fitzsimons and Jamie Pickering. Both worked with Adam at Lloyds Bank and have many years’ experience in the structured lending arena.

Lewis is a Chartered Accountant with specialist finance M&A experience and was responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with Challenger Banks and various non-bank lenders at Lloyds

Jamie most recently spent three years working in Lloyd’s Securitisation Team, structuring a variety of public and private transactions covering a wide range of consumer and commercial asset classes.
