Payments and refunds

I have new Motor Finance loan with you. When will my monthly payments begin?

Your monthly payments will usually begin one month after your loan agreement start date. However, please take a look at your welcome pack for further details.

 

Can I make overpayments?

Yes. You need to let us know whether you were looking to reduce your loan term (if your terms and conditions allow) or monthly payment amount. But you can easily make overpayments by bank transfer or phone.

Can I make a lump sum payment towards my loan?

Yes, but it will depend on the Terms and Conditions of your agreement as to how we apply this to your account. You should have received a copy of these with your welcome pack that you can refer to.

How long will it take for my final balloon payment to clear?

Please allow up to 10 business days for your final balloon payment to clear. If after this time, you have any concerns then please get in touch.

I’m due a refund, when will I receive it?

It can take up to 15 business days for a refund to be issued. If after this time, you still haven’t received it, please get in touch.
