What is the Government’s Green Homes Grant scheme?

Landlords in England can now apply for a Green Homes Grant voucher to put towards the cost of installing energy efficient improvements to their properties.

The scheme will see the Government contribute up to £5,000 to cover two-thirds of the cost of eligible improvements, with the property owner contributing the remaining third.

Our further advance can be used to top up the cost of these works but is not limited to that amount.

How do I apply for a green further advance product?

In order to be eligible for our new green mortgage products, landlords must have applied, and been accepted for, a Green Homes Grant under the new Government scheme. Details of the scheme and how to apply, can be found on the Government website.

Once approved for the scheme, you can log in and apply for one of our further advance products as usual, and provide us with a copy of the Grant Certificate in support of your application.
