How to personalise your login username

When you sign up, you are automatically assigned a randomly generated online banking username.  

You might not be aware that you do have the option to change this to a personalised username of your choice.  

Here is a straightforward guide to help you change your username in two easy steps.  

Step one: Log into your account with Paragon using your existing details  

  • Head to our homepage and click on the ‘Login’ option – the green button to the right of the screen 
  • Select ‘Savings’, the first option under ‘Personal’  
  • Login as usual, with your randomly assigned username, password and memorable details  

Step two: Change your username to one of your choice  

  • Select ‘change my details’ from the menu at the top. The next screen will provide a list of details that can be updated   
  • Under ‘security details’, select ‘personalise your username’  
  • On the next screen you’ll have the option to change your username to one of your choice  

What can I change my username to?  

We would encourage you to change your username to something personal and memorable to you. Remember this needs to be bespoke and secure, so we’d encourage you use a mixture of letters and numbers.
