Interest will be paid monthly on the day of the month you first paid into your account or annually on the anniversary of making your opening payment.
Can Paragon Bank change the interest rate? The interest rate is variable. Please see clause 5.12 in General Terms and Conditions.
What would the estimated balance be after 12 months based on a £1,000 deposit? £1,013.10 based on £1,000 over 12 months at 1.31%

How do I open and manage my account? Online. Minimum balance £500 up to a maximum of £500,000 (plus any resulting interest). Account holders must be aged 18 or over and a UK resident for tax purposes.
Can I withdraw money? Subject to a 120 day notice period. Simply log into your account and follow the instructions on screen.

If required notice is not given withdrawals will be subject to 120 days’ loss of interest
Additional information You have up to 28 days from the date of your application request to make your opening deposit. After 28 days the account will be closed.

You can only make new subscriptions by electronic transfer or cheque from the nominated bank account you choose during your application. This account must be in the name of the Paragon Account holder.

Transfers from an existing ISA provider are also permitted. Our accounts are subject to a limited offer.

You can spread your annual ISA allowance across multiple ISAs in our range. Subject to HMRC Guidelines, and not exceeding your annual ISA allowance.

This is a Flexible ISA, so any funds withdrawn are added back to your annual ISA allowance to reinvest with us. All withdrawals are subject to product terms and conditions.

Deposits

Make deposits by electronic bank transfer or cheque. Additional deposits can be made (subject to not exceeding your maximum balance).

All deposits must come from the nominated bank account. This account must include your full name, either as a sole or joint holder.

You can transfer your current or previous ISA subscriptions.

Existing customers can make a deposit from their existing Paragon accounts (subject to account terms and conditions).

Withdrawals

You can make withdrawals to your nominated bank account providing you give the required notice (subject to the account not falling below the minimum required balance).

Withdrawals prior to the required notice are subject to 120 days’ loss of interest.

Each notice period is based on calendar days and begins on the date we receive your withdrawal request

Closing your account

If you change your mind, you have the right to close your account within 14 days of receiving opening deposit.

You can close the account by withdrawing all funds (subject to giving the required notice).

Your account will be closed if it falls below the minimum required balance.

Interest rate changes

This is a variable rate account where the interest rate may change. We will contact you about any changes.
