Two new appointments are bolstering the specialist knowledge within the Vehicle finance team at Paragon.

Alan Timms has joined the specialist lender as a Regional Sales Manager to source and develop new business in the commercial vehicle sector while Kat Schorah joins him as an Assistant Relationship Manager.

Alan has been in the industry for 28 years, cutting his teeth as an account manager in the retail motor finance sector before moving on to work in commercial vehicle and general asset finance at financial institutions including Royal Bank of Scotland and Hampshire Trust Bank.

While Kat Schorah will be one of the key contacts responding to enquiries and proposal queries for non-regulated wheeled asset specialist business introducers after a career in the motor and fleet industries including at Venson Automotive Solutions and Scania.

Paragon's Vehicle finance team prides itself on having expertise in operator and hire fleet funding for commercial vehicles in the recovery, haulage and self-drive hire sectors.

Dealing with haulage and logistics firms on a day to day basis, Paragon's specialist team also shares tips with the industry and recently put together a 60 second guide to help companies navigate their way through the world’s first Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) that came into force in London this month.
