Our SME Lending team supported an independent, family-run business to expand its haulage fleet with a DAF tractor unit, enabling it to fulfil a new contract win.

Holt Transport is based in Lockerbie and services clients in Scotland and England.

The company was established in 1998 by Kevin Holt as the only driver but after building an impressive client base and an extensive list of haulage services, it has built a fleet of eight trucks and 16 employees.

Paragon has also previously funded two trailers for the company and the latest purchase has increased Holt Transport’s fleet size as the company resumes growth following the pandemic.
