Notice accounts

If you don’t need to make frequent withdrawals and are happy to give notice before accessing your savings, a notice account could be the right option for you.

View our notice accounts

Notice accounts give you flexibility with your savings. You can add to them over time, with a chance to earn higher rates of interest than with an easy access account. To make a withdrawal, you simply need to provide the required notice as shown on the term of the product.

Your interest rate will be variable so can change over time. If your rate increases we may do this without prior notice, but for any other changes we plan to make, we will let you know.

Why choose a notice account?

  • Unlimited access to your money
  • Freedom to add to your savings
  • Tax-free within your Personal Savings Allowance
  • Choose monthly or annual interest
What else should you know?
Making payments

Once you’ve opened an account, you can make your opening payment and add to your savings at any time.

Withdrawals

You can make unlimited withdrawals from your account subject to appropriate notice being given.

Nominated bank account

When you open your account via our online application process, you will be asked to enter the details of your nominated bank account. This is the account that you will need to make your payments to and withdrawals from.

Online account

The account is operated online, giving you the flexibility to check your balance and print statements around the clock.

Personal savings allowance

Launched in 2016, the personal savings allowance allows you to earn interest on your savings tax-free. There are limits depending on your tax banding. Currently £1,000 for lower rate tax payers, £500 for higher rate but if you earn more than £150,000 the personal savings allowance doesn’t apply.
