New National Sales Manager for Motor Finance appointed at Paragon

A new National Sales Manager for Motor Finance has been appointed at Paragon with extensive experience in both the automotive and financial services industries.

Geoff Duncalf (pictured below) has joined specialist lender Paragon from Lloyds Banking Group, where he spent eight years, including five years as Senior Account Manager at Black Horse Finance covering the Midlands region.

The newly-created role will see Geoff responsible for leading and developing a team of six Regional Sales Managers with a focus on new partnerships across the UK to build relationships with both dealers and brokers in the motor, LCV and leisure markets.

He also aims to ensure all Paragon’s Motor Finance customers receive the highest level of consultative account management service, adding significant value to their businesses.

Geoff started his career in the motor industry as a car sales executive and quickly rose to the position of sales manager of the third largest Toyota dealership in the UK.

A transition into the financial services industry with Lloyds in 2010 proved highly successful with vital experience gained during his time in the motor industry providing a platform for him to deliver exceptional service for his customers.

Geoff Duncalf, National Sales Manager for Motor Finance at Paragon, said:

I have worked my way up in the motor industry, which was important as it allowed me to understand what dealers and brokers want from a lender. I’m looking forward to getting out and meeting new introducers and forging strong, lasting relationships.

I’m particularly enthusiastic about the digital side of our industry and keen to help and provide feedback to introducers on how this can be developed to enhance the end users’ buying journey – it’s just one great way of how we can add value at no extra cost.

Julian Rance, Motor Finance Director at Paragon, said:

The National Sales Manager position is a new role at Paragon, which aims to further develop and build Paragon’s partnerships with introducers across the motor finance and leisure markets.

As a specialist lender, Paragon prides itself on having a combined specialist knowledge of both finance and the motor industry and Geoff Duncalf’s strong background in this field reflects that.
